Yes you can pay the IRS directly online. Be sure to pick the right year you are paying for.

If you recently prepared and filed a 2019 tax return and had tax due, then you will receive a bill later from the IRS for the late filing and interest. TurboTax does not calculate that---the IRS calculates it and sends a bill based on how much you owed and when they received your payment.
