I presume you received a 1099-MISC for your non-W-2 income. You must report your W-2 income plus your 1099-Misc income. 1099-MISC income is reported as Self Employed Income on Schedule C, which also allows you to deduct business related expenses. All of this is explained a bit more at

I use Turbotax Deluxe, and it allows entry of basic info for 1099-MISC and Schedule C business expenses, and self-employment taxes. It worked fine for several 1099-MISCs and basic expenses.
As I understand it, Turbotax Self Employed package is more high powered and for the people who regularly run their own business. I have never used this software package.
