Can I do anything about this, I didn’t finish my taxes and it went through anyways and I didn’t fill it out right, is there anything I can do?

Your pending returns can not be changed. If your return is accepted you will get an email. If the return is rejected the e-mail will tell you what to correct and you can make changes before e-filing again. Amend to change an accepted return after you get your refund. So even tho I didn’t get to finish it I still don’t get back what I’m supposed to? So when would I get that email? It’s been almost a week and I still haven’t gotten anything, when I logged on this is what it told me

@jkargoe03 If you did not complete the File section of the program and in Step 3 click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now" the tax return was not e-filed.

I don’t have that option, I click on “Amend (change)  return” and it brings me to this. @DoninGA

You cannot amend a tax return that was never filed.

Click on Add a State and this will take you back to the 2022 online tax return that needs to be completed.
