If you are Single and have no dependents to claim on the tax return then your Filing Status is Single. You cannot claim yourself as a dependent. Nor can you have Head of Household Filing status if you do not have a qualifying person as a dependent on your tax return, among other requirements.

No. When you are asked in My Info if someone else can claim you as a dependent you click on NO---you will then get the standard deduction of $12,950 for a single person who cannot be claimed.
Head of Household is a filing status used mostly for single parents who can claim a qualifying child (or other blood-related person) as a dependent.

If you qualify as Head of Household, when you enter your marital status (single or married filing separately) into MyInfo, and then enter your qualifying dependent, TurboTax will offer HOH as your filing status.
