Your AGI is not on your W-2's.

Your 2018 tax return shows your 2018 Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) If you filed a joint return then the AGI is the same for each of you.

Form 1040        line 7

If you are using the same TT account that you used last year, you should also be able to find this number in your Tax Home for 2018

If entering the amount from your 2018 tax return does not work, then try entering “0” instead.  If that does not work and you still cannot e-file, then print, sign, and mail your tax return.

You can get a free transcript of your past return from the IRS:

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

Note: If you filed late or amended your return, your correct 2018 AGI may not be in the system.

Note:  If you mail your federal return, you will also need to mail your state return.  You will not be able to e-file your state return.

If you have double checked the employer ID you entered for each W-2 and the amounts on box 1 of the W-2 especially and all other boxes agree with the amounts you entered first.  Maybe you have done so, then there could be other issues causing the rejection.

1.  Could the W-2 you are using have been corrected or are you using a corrected W-2 and the IRS  isn't using  the correct info?  Quite often the W-2 has a box on top that is to be checked if the W-2 is corrected.  You must contact each employer to verify if there were corrections made and ascertain that you are inputting the corrected amount.

2.  You mention multiple W-2s.  Is it possible that you are missing one?  You are the only person who can determine this.  List every place you worked during 2019 and make sure you have a W-2 entered for each of them.  Remember:  Since you are on what is called a cash basis (taxable when you get the money/check) it is possible that a job you left at the end of the year 2018 paid you some of your salary in 2019 and therefore sent you a W-2.  Contact anyplace where you worked at the end of 2018 or during 2019 to be sure you have all of your W-2s.

I can't think of any other reasons you are getting this error message.

This is BenT9 - I misunderstood your question.  My guess is that you meant to say you were rejected due to an error where your AGI entered does not agree with your 2018 W-2.  If this is the case my answer is not applicable to your question so please ignore it.

As noted in the other response Your 2018 AGI is obtained form your 2018 tax return which summarizes all of the income that you entered on that return not just W-2s.  If you are trying to get your 2018 from your 2018 W-2s it won't work if you had any other income (for example: interest, dividends, and so on) or any other adjustment.
