Business LCC | K1 forms missing from PDF printout.

II finished the return and looked at the preview PDF.

I checked the individual K1's PDF and found the PDF only has the cover letter. The form is not showing at all. 
The K1's are also missing from the federal return PDF. Only the cover letters show. 

On the "review your return" screen.
State Partnership Information Worksheet 

I see a form with some pink fields and checkboxes. The Partner Printing Options is set to NO.
I am unable to edit it on this screen

That is merely the flow of the program. You can ignore it if it is inapplicable to your situation (which it appears to be).

Can you override that field?

No, I am unable to edit the checkboxes. They are not part of the normal data entry flows.

 

The form is under State review. It appears as an iframe window on the page. 
The title is New Mexico Partnership information worksheet 2020

Some fields are editable and are Yellow but are no relevant to my business.
The below I see Part III. K1 - Information
The checkboxes are not editable at all. 

I was able to view and print the K1's before I purchased the State part. Once I did this the forms are no longer showing up Just the k1 partner cover letters.

For issue with the state return, I recommend that you contact Support.

Hi

 

I was with support for 1:12 mins and they could not help me. 

They suggested coming back here for help

 

The issue is not a CPA issue. 

1. The agent insisted that I should have a Share Screen option. I am using the Business download version. It is not online. There is no option to share my screen

 

2. My problem is the software is forcing a setting that I did not selected anywhere in the flow.

I was never asked if I wanted to print K1s or not. I clearly do.
But during the review the screen shows a worksheet that shows an option selected for the K1's  not to be printed. 

I am unable to change that checkbox in the iframe screen.

Where is it coming from and how I can change it?

This happened after I installed the estate part.

Did you mean to write, the "state" part?

 

If so, the issue appeared immediately after you downloaded and installed the state (that you presumably purchased)?

Yes. When I checked my federal the k1's were there just fine looking at the print preview.
Then I downloaded and paid for the state. 

 

I figure it out. Looking at the forms view I can actually change the setting to YES. 
Now I can see the forms included in the printout.

I have a related question if I may ask it here

My business had zero income last year.
The flow is taking me to the Qualified income 
The business type would be qualified business income if there was income.

So I select Yes. and I get another worksheet that I don't undertand.
Does this mean I can add last years loses to carry them over?

just take them from the "full return" pdf file (around pg 8-11 if only 2 owners)

 

hope Turbo Tax fixed this in an update soon
