My question is if there is any income cap for using simple returns. Any caps on 1099-INT or 109-DIV etc?
I see free file is for simple returns and a simple return is defined as follows --

My question was regarding Turbotax Free edition which claims $0 Federal $0 State for Simple returns and I was not sure if Simple returns also meant some income limits. I guess the answer is No.
I think the other information you provided that with 1099-INT > $1500 one would need Sch-B which is not supported in the free edition is also something crucial to remember.
