I had 3 main jobs in 2017:
-Internship: I had around $25K of taxable income and had $5K withheld (2300 being federal and 760 being state).
-Student job on my university campus: I had approximately $3200 of taxable income. No state taxes were taken and I only had about $30 of federal tax taken.
-Freelance work through Upwork: I made around $700. Upwork takes a 20% cut into that so take home was a little less. I am not sure how taxes work for this one.
I am single and claimed only “1” under federal and state taxes withholding as I claim myself.
Given the above information, how will my tax refund be affected? Do I have to claim the freelance work since my wages were so low?
This is my first time filing taxes so I apologize for all the questions. Just trying to see if I should expect any money back?

ALL of your income has to be reported on your tax return. Every W-2 that you received must be reported on your tax return, even if they are for small amounts. Remember that each one of those W-2’s has your Social Security number on it, and that income was reported to the IRS by the employer. You do not want to get in trouble with the IRS for under-reporting your income.
ALL of your W-2’s must be entered on the SAME tax return. After you enter the first one, you click Add Another W-2.
If you had self-employment/independent contractor/freelance work that income also belongs on your tax return.
You may have under-withheld taxes--unfortunately if that is the case, you will owe.
