activate on windows 10 pc

downloaded tt deluxe federal and state.  However, when i try to open file to activate I get a message from Microsoft "The app you're trying to install isn't a microsoft Verified app.  Installing from the Microsoft Store helps protect your PC and keeps it running smoothly.  There is a bar provided to "Browse Microsoft Store" and below it another bar to "Change app recommendation settings".  At this point I do not know how to proceed>

You need to switch out of S mode.  See this Windows FAQ.  The second item is how to switch out.

Switching out of S mode is one-way. If you switch out of S mode, you'll need to keep using the standard version of Windows 11.
