Sorry the Online version price is only for federal. You have to pay for state. And the Online fees are to prepare the returns whether you efile or print and mail. You have to pay the fees to see the whole return. Yes you can save it as a pdf and print it out and mail it.
The Online version is only good for 1 return so to do another you have to set up another account and pay the fees again.
In Online it is called Deluxe and Premium. Premium is the new online name for desktop Premier.
And....it is still not clear why you are so dead set on using the laptop. With the desktop download that you already have on your PC you can prepare and e-file up to five federal returns and their associated state returns. The only extra cost for using that software would be the state e-file fee. You can even prepare more than five returns on the PC if the other ones are filed by mail.

@VolvoGirl If it’s only $99 for online federal, how much extra is state? I think I read about $40 per state.
The desktop version is cheaper than that and includes federal + state. Why would anyone choose online assuming have windows 11?
