1099misc - I barely made $500 with Postmates. Do I have to report this income when I file?

Yes you do have to report it. All income is reportable, no matter how little. Income reported in box 7 of a 1099-misc is especially reportable, as it is subject to self employment (social security & medicare) tax as well as income tax. You will owe at least $70 tax.

That is self employment income.  You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe or Premier but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Self Employed version.  Or use the Tax Freedom Edition posted above if you qualify.

FREEDOM EDITION

You cannot enter a 1099Misc when you are using the Free Edition.  If you qualify, there is another free software program available from TurboTax which will allow you to enter self-employment income reported on a 1099Misc.
