1099 Filing to title company for property sold through LLC?

I sold an investment property (not a rental) through an LLC this year. Does the LLC need to send a 1099 to the title/closing company that received all funds for the sale? The particular title company is registered as an LLC, not a corporation.

1099s are for trade or business reporting.

NO ... the closing company should have issued you a 1099 at closing ... look thru the pile of papers you dragged home.
