Hi, I still cannot locate the mortgage paid to foreign bank to line 11, instead of line 10 of Schedule A. I do not have the options suggested by you in previous response.

I do not have an option to indicate that I do not have form 1098

When you enter your mortgage interest check the box that the information is different than on your Form 1098.  You can continue to enter an explanation however it appears it may still be on line 11. This would be a work around as long as you are certain it is deductible mortgage interest with the loan secured by your main home.

The lender name and other information would be available online or a statement, and by phone.
