turbotax generated 8889 is incorrect - shows family plan incorrectly

I have an HDHP plan for self only. My spouse has an HDHP plan for her and son (i.e. family). I entered this info correctly in turbo tax .  Yet when the 8889 forms are generated at the end, under line 1 ( Check the box to indicate your coverage under a high-deductible health plan (HDHP) during 2019 ), 'family' is checked. And in line 3 it is generated as $7000

If you were under age 55 at the end of 2019 and, on the first day of every month during 2019, you
were, or were considered, an eligible individual with the
same coverage, enter $3,500 ($7,000 for
family coverage)

The 8889 form for both my and my spouse are generated with 'family' HDHP checked. This is incorrect. For myself, it should generated with 'self' in line 1 and '$3500'  in line 3. For my spouse, 8889 is generated correctly. How do I get this fixed?

turbotax generated 8889 is incorrect - shows family plan incorrectly

it's correct.

if one has single coverage and one has family coverage, you are to choose family, which is what TT has done.

if you are using Desktop version, go to Forms View, pull up form 8889 and look at the Line 3 Smart Instructions (which is the line you are questioning).   it states that if you have single coverage and your wife has family coverage, you are to pick family as well.
