TURBOTAX FREEZES

Hi - thanks. Not browser. I did not have enough characters to add that I am using Home & Business based on a download to my laptop. So cache and cookie-clearing won't help. It's the app. Any more ideas?

I need help. It's been 30 mins and I cannot get to the next page and complete. How can I unfreeze the page without loosing information?

TurboTax freezes at "Upload (?) UPDATES"

Couple of things to check ... if you are using WIN 10 make sure ALL the OS updates have been installed ... make sure to reboot the comp at least twice.

Then make sure your program is on the C drive ... that is where the updates is looking for it.  And you may need to turn off your security system. 

Open TurboTax and select Check for Updates from the Online menu near the top. On a Mac, simply quit and reopen TurboTax. If there are any updates, you'll be prompted to download them.

Tips:

• It's best to use a wired, high-speed connection when updating, both to save time and minimize data corruption.
• If your connection drops in the middle of the update, try again; it should pick up where it left off.
• If you're having trouble updating on your PC, try a manual update.

Program stars.  Transferred 2019 information OK.  Started answering questions, came to Dependent on any other returns; program freezes.

Same here with Premier.  Software has frozen about 6 times, locked up the whole computer 4 times (had to remove battery to reboot), and caused the Windows blue screen 3 times! Now it wants me to start over with registration every time I launch the software!

Would you trust these people with your mortgage?  Rocket me to the moon!
