What do you mean by "with tuition transfer"?  There is no such terminology I've ever heard of in IRS parlance.

In Canada you can transfer tuition credit from student to parent/spouse

And nothing you do in your kid's returns will automatically transfer to your return.  Each return is completely separate.

my kids returns are done. I entered all the appropriate info on my return. TurboTax says it automatically applies the max transfer amount (5k per year) but it’s not applying anything. And shows Zero available to transfer. I did it last year with not problems. I think it’s a glitch and impossible to get a live body at TurboTax.

It "sounds" to me like you're dealing with a Canadian tax return. This support forum is for US tax returns. You want to post in the Canadian forum at https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/turbotax-support/en-ca
