Complete the federal tax return and when you are in the Federal Review section you will be asked about the stimulus payments.
I completely completed the federal tax return. However, it did not raise any question regarding the non received Covid-19 stimulus payments. Is it normal? Can I get the Covid-19 stimulus payment credit? how is it?
The stimulus check is an advance on a credit you can receive on your 2020 tax return. If something went wrong or you did not get the stimulus check in 2020, you can get it when you file your 2020 return in early 2021
The Recovery Rebate Credit will be found in the FEDERAL REVIEW section. ( you should see "Let's make sure you got the right stimulus amount”) If you are eligible it will end up on line 30 of your 2020 Form 1040.
Make sure that you enter ALL of the stimulus money received for the 1st and 2nd stimulus for yourself, your spouse and your children.

I have completed the FEDERAL REVIEW part and I haven't seen any mention. Are there income restrictions? I have never received any Covid-19 stimulus payments.
Yes there are income restrictions.
For the first and 2nd EIP payments --- Per the IRS:
A1. Generally, if you are a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident alien, you will receive an Economic Impact Payment of $1,200 ($2,400 for a joint return) if you (and your spouse if filing a joint return) are not a dependent of another taxpayer and have a Social Security number valid for employment and your adjusted gross income (AGI) does not exceed:
You are not eligible for a payment if any of the following apply to you:
Thank you very much for the information. I am a US citizen and married. Since my spouse worked in a company in CT in 2019 and 2020, we filed federal and state tax returns separately, maybe this is why I cannot get Covid-19 stimulus payments. However, TurboTax did not mention the content of Covid-19 stimulus payments during the entire tax filing process. That makes me feel strange.
Why did you file Federal Separately?
My spouse works remotely in an IT company in Connecticut. We live in Massachusetts. Connecticut does not accept filing state tax return jointly. At the time, We felt that there was no difference between filing tax return separately or jointly. therefore, we filed federal and state tax returns separately for 2019. But for 2020, we will file federal tax return jointly, while MA and CT state taxes will be filed separately.
The stimulus questions will not be presented if your income is too high ... only if you qualify for the credit will the screen asking about the prior payments be shown.
