Turbo Tax not recognizing a dependent

My child is 21 and earned over $4400.
However, my child:

 a) was a full time student all of 2022

 b)  did not provide over half support

I see here on Turbo Tax tips that,

How much can a dependent child earn in 2022?

A qualifying child can earn an unlimited amount of money and still be claimed as a dependent, so long as the child doesn’t also provide more than half of his or her own support.

All of the above is true for my child.

Why isn't Turbo Tax recognizing my child as a dependent?

@bt001

Did you indicate the child lived with you for the whole year?
No, my child lived in a dorm for which I paid the cost and only lived at home for 3 months.

That is probably the reason the child is not being shown as your dependent.

When a child is away from home temporarily for education they are considered living in your home.  Change your answer to living in your home for the whole year.

Did you indicate the child lived with you for the whole year?  Did you NOT check the box for the Social Security number being not valid for employment?  Did indicate that the child did NOT provide over one-half of their own support?

Go back to Personal Info and check your answers for the child.

Also, since the child is over the age of 16 they are no longer eligible for the child tax credit.  They are only eligible for the Other Dependent credit of $500.

Yes, you are correct.  Key questions are as DoninGA mentions.  Particularly how many months did they live with you? You should include time away for school as time living with you.

Generally, a person under age 24 who is a full-time student for any part of at least 5 months and does not provide more than 1/2 of their own support is considered a qualifying child dependent and their income does not matter.

Yes, I did not check the box for invalid SSN.

Did indicate that the child did NOT provide over one-half of their own support?

Turbo Tax Home and Business does not ask this question.

When I changed from 3 months living at home to living at home for the whole year then Turbo Tax asked did your child provide over half their support.

Thanks for the help @DoninGA!
