Standard deduction on a partial year tax return due to death

I'm preparing my father's tax return, who passed away in 2021. Turbo tax is allotting him the full Standard deduction ($14,250), even though he was only with us for 1 month. Should the deduction be amortized over the days he was alive?

The standard deduction is allowed for the entire year, even if he passed on Jan 1 of the tax year.
