So what did the bank do with my money? Same problem looks like everyone else is having with this bank
No one in a community forum can know anything specific about your refund.
SBTPG (aka TPG) is involved if you chose to pay any TurboTax product fees out of your Federal refund. SBTPG has a refund lookup tool that may provide you some info. To log in, choose the "For taxpayers" portal at:
https://www.sbtpg.com/
SBTPG has a phone contact page at the following link. It also shows their business hours. Even when they are closed, you may be able to get automated info, or you can log in as above.

First you said it was less $1,400 and now you are saying it is $1,706 less. Do you know how much your federal tax refund was on your Form 1040 Line 34?
Line 34 says 2,716 TPG deposited 1,165.44. That is unbelievable. Next step is with the legal system.
I used tax slayers

Does the IRS website indicate that you were sent less than what was reported on your federal tax return Form 1040 Line 34? - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
How much were your TurboTax online account fees plus the $39 TPG service charge?
See this TurboTax support FAQ for checking your fees - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/charges-and-fees/help/how-do-i-review-my-fees-in-turbotax-online/0...

I'm filling out Fraud Forms and others and sending them to the Return Prepare Office in Atlanta, Ga as well as the IRS (Dept. of Treasury) in my area. The forms are available online.
I just sent lots of pages to the Fraud Dept. at the IRS. It shows where my refund should have been $4658. Then, I got a notice from the IRS it was going to be $1899. Then, I received another notice that it was going to be $1858. Then, I finally got a direct deposit of $1798. HUH???? How did this work???!!!! E-filing is FREE - so where would ANY fees come from?
It appears that Intuit made a HUGE error in the TurboTax service. They left out the part where, if you received Child Tax dollars during the pandemic, it should've asked for that amount so it could adjust this on your schedule 8812. This DID NOT HAPPEN, TurboTax. So, the IRS deducted the amount that they sent and recalculated your refund/amount owed accordingly.
The moral of the story, this is the last year that I use TurboTax!!!
Yes, I understand completely what you are saying as it's correct. However, TurboTax never even asked the question, did you receive Child Tax Credits during X time. Please input the amount received. This is a HUGE mistake!

You were asked in the Federal Review section of the program -
What about if you don't have children? Then what's the excuse for the deduction?

Everyone is being asked this question since TurboTax does not know if the user was one who received these advances from the IRS in 2021.
Enter a 0 (zero) when asked to enter a number on the Schedule 8812. This will correct the issue and remove the Schedule 8812 from your tax return so that you can file the return.
If you do not have dependents and did not receive any advance child tax credits in 2021, the Schedule 8812 will not be included in the 2021 tax return that is filed.
My refund is about 1800 dollars short. Why is this? I have never had a problem with Turbo Tax until this year! Can you please tell me what's going on?
Thanks
