Filed today with Desktop version, no issues with using Easy Step Form 5695. Lines 17 worked with my Biomass Stove $2000 credit finally.
Let us know when/if the Feds accept your return. Some are reporting no trouble with the form but are having their returns rejected by the Feds.
I'm using the desktop version and the software is still producing uncorrectable errors for me. I'm planning on filling it out manually and submitting my return on paper.

TurboTax Desktop: I advise to follow the steps below, then file your return.
I had done that previously and it generated errors. However, today it appears to be fixed. I've deleted my previous form, filled in a new one, and now there are no errors. All I can say is, "It's about time."
This is Sammy from Miami. I had initial problems with form 5695 using TT PC desktop version in late February. The notice I received was to wait until Jan 6 for a TT update.
It is now 3/28/26 and the form 5695 is still not functioning properly. I have qualifying expenses and have met all the criteria to qualify. Please address this, Turbo Tax Tech crew! As you can tell, your customers are having significant trouble with your product.
There have been updates for Form 5695. If you're using TurboTax Desktop, try deleting the form, doing a Manual Update, and stepping through the Home Energy Credit interview again.
If using TurboTax Online, here's How to Delete Forms in TurboTax Online. After deleting the form, clear your Cache and Cookies before stepping through the interview.
If this does not resolve your issue, please give more specific details and we'll try to help. Here's more info on Home Energy Credits.
Same thing happened to me! Its now been 2 months. Irs rejected my $2000 tax credit
Five weeks after filing online, the IRS has requested additional information before issuing a return. I got the letter today from the IRS asking me to submit form 5695 with QMIN numbers in line 20. I was sure I had entered this originally and when I checked my saved pdf from 3/29, they are there. I don't know if those didn't transmit with the filing but I'll resend and now wait an additional 6-8 weeks for my refund.
For what it's worth, the pdf shows Rev 03/12/26 TTMac on form 5695
This process has been very frustrating this tax season. I filed back at the beginning of March and still didn't get my refund. Not sure if its related to Form 5695 also but I may need to look at other softwares to file next year tax returns.
