Hi, I need to claim the 2020 stimulus payment, but when I reach that point in Federal Review, it does not give me the option to because it isn't using AGI to determine eligibility it is using Total Income from 2019. Seems like a glitch in the program, can this be addressed in an update please?

I'm having this issue as well. I just spent 4 hrs with 3 different help desk people. No resolution. This seems like a bug in the software. I've cleared my info 3 times. If you create a "ghost" account you will see the form pop-up but once I input all my info it dissappears.
HELP!
Hi,
After digging around in the program I found the form "Recovery Rebate Credit Worksheet" which at the bottom notes that it is phased out because my 2020 AGI exceeds the threshold. This is a problem because the credit is supposed to be based on 2019 AGI in which case I should qualify. This is certainly a bug in the software and needs to be addressed. Thanks.
Sorry the credit is really based on your 2020 return. They used your 2018 or 2019 return to send out the payments. But the good news is if they paid you too much they won't take it back.
See my posts on this one. I found a couple IRS links that say if you don't qualify for more based on 2020 and you don't have to pay it back if you got too much.
