This would be your total annual payments.

Thanks. I just left it blank. After doing some research myself, I kept getting two very contradicting solutions. One solution (from multiple different sources) says it would be my annual total payments and, the other solution (also, from multiple different sources) says it that those are actually meant for the recipient of the payments to fill out, not the payer. 🤷‍♀️

If it is asking you to report the income - that makes sense.  You would report the annual amount received.  It sounds like you figured it out correctly!
