I am using turbotax premier and am having no luck finding a way to import from itsdeductible-? I’ve already attempted the solutions in other posts with no luck.

This was worthless asking the question. I ended up trying different options until I stumbled on the solution. I ran into the same issue last year and change in the program changed the way Itsdeductible connects to Turbotax. This should be a simple connection- not something I needed to waste my time searching for!

 :How did you solve it? If you were using Turbo Tax Online, did you go to:

• Federal>deductions and Credits>
• All tax breaks>charitable donations
• The first entry should say  "import from it's deductible." start

If you performed a different process, how were you able to get into "It's Deductible"?

yes - that was what I eventually stumbled upon. When I used the search function trying to find it the descriptions put in for connection were all over the place and many were several years old. The problem is that as the system steps you through the process of doing your taxes it never gets to that. It starts asking you about donating to the same charity as last year and then wants you to start entering data. It would be simple to first ask if you use the Itsdeductible program.

By the way, I see the description lists me as a new user, but I’ve been using TT for years - going back to the days when there was no online version and the only way to get it was buying the CD.

If you have TurboTax Deluxe or higher, importing your ItsDeductible donations is easy. Here’s how:

1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
2. Search for donations and select the Jump to link.
3. Answer Yes to Did you make any donations to charity? 
4. On the next screen, answer Yes toDo you have an account with ItsDeductible Online?
5. Your donations will automatically load as long as you're using the same account for both ItsDeductible and TurboTax. On the next screen, select which donations you want to import and select Import Now.
6. Select Continue and review your charities on the next screen.
