And HSA and an FSA are not the same thing. However, because the FSA automatically covers both spouses, this means you have conflicting coverage. Instead of saying that you had a high deductible health plan and conflicting coverage, you just say you had no coverage so TurboTax gives you the correct tax treatment.

Thanks CatinaT1! It took some patience reworking the forms, but my "HSA Income" now shows the correct amount under "Excess employer contributions withdrawn." Thanks again!
