If you didn’t receive a third Economic Impact Payment (stimulus) or got less than the full amount, you may be eligible to claim a Recovery Rebate Credit on your 2021 federal tax return.
In TurboTax,The Recovery Rebate Credit will be found in the Federal Review section.
To claim the Credit:
1. Enter all your federal return information as you would normally
2. During the Federal Review, we’ll check if you meet the requirements for the stimulus payment
3. If you meet the requirements, you'll see the Did you get a third stimulus? screen
4. Answer a few questions about any payments you've already received and then we'll let you know if the Recovery Rebate Credit applies
Missing first and second payments may only be claimed on a 2020 tax return.
We received the 1st stimulus check routed through our "old" bank. Since that time, that bank was absorbed by another bank in October, 2021. I suspect that the third stimulus was sent to our old bank account and was never forwarded to our new bank and new bank account number.
How can I track the 3rd stimulus check's whereabouts ?? Thanks I

Go to this IRS website for how to request a trace on the 3rd stimulus payment - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/questions-and-answers-about-the-third-round-economic-impact-payment-top...
How do I find out if my Coronavirus stimulus payment is being processed or sent/ status update
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
To track your state refund:

https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1901548-why-do-some-refunds-take-longer-than-others
If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

OR——if you filed by mail, expect a long wait. It is taking the very backlogged IRS six to nine months to process mailed returns. Until a human opens your envelope and enters the data into the system, nothing will even show up on the refund site, so you will have to be very patient.
