The IRS should be sending you a letter of explanation in 2 to 3 weeks. wait for it. if you don't understand it, post back with some info because as of now we have nothing to go on to determine who is correct.

EIC usually changes when something else changes ... so did the IRS send you a CP2000 notice ? Is this for a 2018 or 2019 return ?
