8283 NOT efiled with federal return

ya the online version specifically says still that since it requires a signature you MUST print it out and mail it.  No way to send it separately or add as an attachment.

This is not true. It will not let you efile with this form. Clearing cookies, cache, - online version, mobile app. Nothing works.

For anyone using the "Online" Browser-based software...there may still be a problem with the 8283 there

....at least for stock donations, and those apparently do NOT require a signature and TTX "Online" appears to be requiring one (Not fully sure of Desktop yet)

So far, seems OK with the Premier Windows Desktop...but I haven't tried to actually file yet...and won't for another month.

I just want to update my own question.  I efiled yesterday using form 8283 (public stocks to charity in my case) and it worked like a champ.  I just had to wait until the form was available.  Perhaps the other issues are with the online version or when folks donate non public stock donations...... but mine was fine.
