I have used Turbo Tax for the last 20 years and Deluxe the past few years. Last year I was able to take my 1099-MISC which included actual freelance wages combined with out-of-pocket expenses and deduct my expenses from my return. The message I get is "Be sure to visit the Business Income and Expenses section so we can cover the business deductions you may be eligible to deduct". Does this mean that I need to upgrade? I was able to do this last year using Deluxe!!!
