No. HSA contributions outside of your employer wouldn't be on your W2 at all.

Chances are, you made no contributions outside of employment. Few people do.

HSA contributions through employment are within Code W in Box 12. Code D is 401(k) contributions and Code AA is Roth 401(k). Neither relate to HSAs.

No. HSA contributions outside of your employer wouldn't be on your W2 at all.

Chances are, you made no contributions outside of employment. Few people do.

HSA contributions through employment are within Code W in Box 12. Code D is 401(k) contributions and Code AA is Roth 401(k). Neither relate to HSAs.
