Changed jobs 5 years ago, but finally moved last year. Can I deduct moving expenses?
Moving expenses must usually be claimed for costs in the period ending before one year after the move. That period can be longer for special circumstances. A period of five years would be unusual but an article from Accounting Web may be helpful: http://www.accountingweb.com/tax/individuals/be-aware-of-time-limits-for-moving-expense-deductions
