When I manually enter a 1099-INT on the desktop app it does not show up in the list of interest entries ("Here's the interest we have so far". Instead it appears that these are adding entries under dividends; I haven't started that section yet, but it already shows amounts.
When I go into the dividend section to clean them up, it says that there are manual entries on the Schedule B and gives me the option to remove them; I assume these came from the 1099-INT entries. I chose the option to delete them and then deleted the interest entries that showed up under dividends. Now I still get the message about manual entries on Schedule B -- there are no amounts on it, and the Income Summary page still shows an amount under dividends.
I saw a similar comment where the response was that the filer must have entered something incorrectly. I would be happy to share step-by-steps that I followed.
This may or may not be related, but before manually adding 1099-INT forms, I imported one from a brokerage where I have multiple accounts. Only the first entry showed up on the interest screen; no idea where the other one went. This was the reason I switched to manual forms.

Are you using the desktop software? If so, click on Forms and see what forms are still in your return. Anything with a red ! next to it has an error.
Yes, I'm using the desktop app (see subject). There were several forms with red !, but most were because I imported last year's return and hadn't gotten that far yet. The schedule B also had a red ! due to an account that was imported that didn't have an amount. I'm not sure how any of this would cause interest input to show up under dividends though.
I can't be sure what's happening, but it is obviously incorrect!
