I sold my house in 2019. What do i put for the question, How much did you owe on Jan 2019? . Am i putting what it was Jan 19 or what it last was b4 sold on March 19???

Enter the balance of the home loan on Jan 1, 2019. 

The program is calculating your home mortgage interest for 2018. You will not deal with the home sale until next year.
