You can skip the mortgage interest section if you do not pay a mortgage.  If TurboTax asks you if you have a 1098 or any mortgage interest, answer No.  

If you are itemizing, you can add any property taxes you paid in that section.  If you need to get out of that section, you can click on Deductions & Credits at the top of the page.
