The VA Funding Fee is for Mortgage Insurance. The deduction for Mortgage Insurance expired at the end of 2016 and has not been renewed or extended for tax year 2017.

The VA Funding Fee is for Mortgage Insurance. The deduction for Mortgage Insurance expired at the end of 2016 and has not been renewed or extended for tax year 2017.
