No. You can continue through them without entering amounts. Or you might want to enter them in case you can itemize on the state return.

No.

If you choose to use the Standard deduction, you don't need to enter Itemized deductions.

You choose the Standard deduction when the sum of all your itemized deductions is smaller than the Standard deduction.
