Cash in lieu 1099-B

So apparently Apple stock split on 8/28/20 - some of my stock got sold, and I received Cash in Lieu.

When reporting this in TurboTax, I don't know what kind of stock was sold - I didn't sell it. I did participate in an ESPP with Apple and have some RSUs - but I also have some shares in a separate brokerage account.

How can I tell what kind of stock was sold?

Or - do I not need to report this since I, personally, did not sell it?

You do need to report the sale just as it was reported to you.

Just choose 'stock (non-employee)' for the type of stock that was sold unless you are certain that it was one of the other types of stock.  Consider the brokerage that is reporting the transaction and whether that is the brokerage where you are holding your separate shares.

First screen shot shows the SALE of a fractional share in the conversion process ... you simply enter it as a stock sale using the info on the first screen shot.

The last screen shot shows what you "purchased" of the new stock.  If you don't understand what you are looking at on the broker's statement then contact the broker so they can explain it to you.
