Can't find the link or place to enter car registration fee when searching for it in turbotax online?

"Where do I enter my car registration fees?

Follow these directions:

With your return open, search for car registration inside your program.
Select the Jump to link at the top of your search results.
Answer Yes to Did you pay any car registration fees in 2023? and then enter them on the next screen."
There is no "Jump to link" at the top of my search results!

Yes, you can deduct the personal property taxes that you pay in some states to register your car. 

Here's where to enter that in TurboTax:

1. Sign In to your TurboTax account.
2. Select Deductions & Credits.
3. Select the down arrow to the right of Cars and Other Things You Own.
4. Select Start to the right of Car Registration Fees.
5. Answer the first question Yes.
6. Enter the fees you paid on the next screen.

Please note, this deduction isn't available in all states. Follow this link to see which states have deductible registration fees.

It says to do a search and follow the link that does not work either.  Neither did the import function for last years taxes. Now I have to file taxes without answers.

Using the TurboTax online editions -

Click on Federal on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Deductions & Credits

Scroll down to Cars and Other Things You Own

On Car Registration Fees, click the start button

To see the list of states and other information concerning this deduction click on the circled ? in front of the Start button
