Thank god! I knew I should have just paid all the tax the first year vs doing it over three years! Never again!

Unfortunately the IRS is very underfunded and lacks personal so they only write e-file specifications that require programing the IRS e-file system and tax providers system, testing each one for compatibility and authorizing the changes, is very labor intensive. They do not do that for little used forms.
Hello All,
I see the Form 8915B for 2020 in Turbo Tax. Now you can file your taxes. Thank you.
Regards
Sundar
Thanks for the info but I’ve completely DROPPED TurboTax and went with another tax provider who had the forms ready a lot longer than this company had! Good riddance TT!
This morning (4/9/2021) Turbo Tax form availability site is showing 2020 form 8915B as "available". Through yesterday the date continued to change since I purchased 2020 TT in January with 4/8/2021 as the most recent scheduled date. However, my actual TT filing is still showing "ready soon". These are conflicting indicators FROM Turbo Tax. It's not really available if I can't complete my actual taxes! What's up?????
Please call TurboTax support for assistance.
What is the TurboTax phone number?
Better yet use a DIFFERENT tax preparation service! Due to this I’ll NEVER go back to TutboTax!

If you are using the desktop software then update the program. The form was in the 4/8 update.
The 8915-B is part of the 1099-R interview. It will appear if you say you had a disaster in 2020.
Here is an IRS link about natural disaster relief
And an IRS video for victims of natural disasters.
I cannot get the 8915b to merge with my return at all...states not supported....i understand i will have to paper file but i cannot even get the form to take on TT...anyone know of any programs that support thia form completely?
This form is supported in TurboTax and is populated based on your answers to the questions about the distribution for Form 1099-R.
For more information about this form use this link: Qualified 2020 Retirement Distributions due to COVID
Steps to review in your tax return for this entry:
It still not available to e-file as of 4/12.
Do what I did, go see H and R Block and let them do it for you! Last time I’ll ever use TurboTax!

E-filing of the Form 8915-B is not supported. The form can only be printed and mailed.
So how do I include it so I can pay the last part of taxes for it?
