I paid a deposit of $2830 in order to secure a spot in the day care before my child was born.

Since the child was not born in 2022 they could not attend a day care facility in 2022. So you cannot claim the dependent care credit on your 2022 tax return.

I just moved to Canada, I am a permanent resident, I also am retired and collect social security which gets deposited in my I S bank account what do I need for my taxes
