You don't need to attach the tax receipt to your e-filed tax return.

Just keep it in your tax records.

No. Paper copies of forms cannot be sent with an e-filed tax return. There is no need to attach a receipt for the taxes paid. Just keep a copy with your records if the IRS would ever question your tax payment (extremely doubtful)
