Just wanted people to be aware when uploading documents and incorporating data from last year's tax return, it is double entering amounts and this is not visible until you file. I will have to amend my return for the first time ever because of this new feature of Turbotax.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
The issue is indeed fixed, but the fix did not remove the duplicate 1099-G. I presume this was so that TurboTax did not accidentally delete a 1099-G that wasn't a duplicate but was supposed to be there.
I think that before the fix, the instructions were to manually remove the duplicate form, but the link you refer to no longer says that.
If it helps, here are instructions on how to delete the extra 1099-G.

There was an issue with 1099-Gs (used for state refunds and unemployment) being accidentally duplicated, so the amount was doubled as if you had entered it twice.
The issue has been fixed, but if the 1099-G got duplicated, you will have to go manually delete the extra form.
To find and delete the extra form, do a Search (upper right) for 1099-g, and click on the jump-to link (Mac users must find 1099-G in the Topics List). Then to delete the extra form (if one), so the following:
*** Desktop***
1. go to View (at the top), choose Forms, and select the desired form. Note the Delete Form button at the bottom of the screen.
*** Online ***
1. go to Tax Tools (on the left), and navigate to Tools->Delete a form
2. delete the extra form (if one)
Once your return is accepted and the finances are settled, you can file an amended return.
If something got doubled you have to find out why. That is not a "new feature". What got doubled? There was an issue with unemployment.
In TurboTax Mobile, some customers are experiencing issues with the unemployment (1099-G) section. The program is creating two 1099-G entries, If you are experiencing this you may delete one of them and will be able to move forward. This issue should be fixed
It was with my 1099G form that lists the previous year's state tax refund amount.

Thank you all so much for your help! I was able to amend my return in less than 5 minutes and am now awaiting my additional return. Love this community and TurboTax 🙂 Cheers!
