Are there details for exactly what is flowing into form 2106 Line 3?

This is not balancing to what my employee expenses total to - I'm assuming this field is a Turbotax automated field and it is filled in automatically while walking through the program?

Form 2106 line 3 is not your total employee expenses. It is specifically travel expenses. The amount on Form 2106 line 3 is not calculated by TurboTax. It's the amount you enter for travel expenses on the screen shown below.
