Accepted 5 days ago. not approved yet. $5000 cc debt and late stdent loan payments. pay,but late. Standard deduction with $4K in child care. Should I be concerned?

I am concerned that I am being 'processed' due to credit card debt for a few thousand as well as studnet loan payments, that I make payments on but I have like a rolling 60.  In past years I've always gotten approved fairly quickly.  It's been 5 days (maybe 4).  Also, I file head of household, with my 2 children.  TT had me take standard deduction, the paperowrk was short with just my $4000 in childcare.

Any help appreciated.

The IRS does not know or care about your credit card debt.  There has been a backlog of returns that were e-filed before the IRS began accepting and processing them on 1-29. TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.

Once your return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS.

To track your Federal refund:

To track your state refund:

On the IRS site you are also offered the use of an app called IRS2Go

Thank you! In past years I have always been 'approved' so quickly.  The day I was accepted was the 29th, and it shows it on the IRS website.  But no, estimated deposit date yet or approval yet.  I noticed you said the 29th was date IRS began, could it be backlog or is there sometimes a reason for concern that something was inaccurate? I also did not enter in mortgage interest for 2 of the mortgage companies that have held my mortgage this past year(but that would be to my detriment so I don't see wny IRS would care)? I'm finding all these causes for concern..
