I had an overpayment in 2021 and I'm applying it to 2022 VA state taxes. For some reason I cannot figure anywhere, TT is showing the overpayment as 2x! As you know, all estimates and overpayments info is entered in the Federal section, all looks good there. However, when I get to the VA State, its showing in the section: VA Estimated Tax Payments: an amount that is 2x what it should be exactly + what I just paid as PTET return.
Very odd. Is this a software error? I know this number is not correct.
Also, where should I enter the $$ I just paid with VA PTET return? I put it in the tax extension payment screen as I could find no other relevant entry point

Error was because the TT desktop version you have to "page down" to see other estimated payments. There was a duplicate entry.
Thanks for posting back and letting us know.
