How do I file for APO, I paid Arizona taxes but I've lived overseas for 9 months of the year

In the Personal Info section for Mailing Address -

In the section Type of mailing address in the dropdown choose Military (APO, FPO, or DPO).  Enter your address.  In the section APO/FPO/DPO in the dropdown choose APO.  In the section State code in the dropdown choose your area.  Enter the zip code and Continue with this section until completed.

@DoninGA oh I found that, thank you but I was referring to what state to claim for filing purposes since I don't live there

What is your State of Legal Residence or Home of Record?  Was there state taxes withheld from your military pay?  If so, which state?

@DoninGA I have been paying AZ taxes all year.   My state of residence is APO since everything I own is here.   Every legal document has my APO address.   I think I may just be screwed

No.  You are alright.  Your state of Legal Residence is Arizona.  The APO is not a state, just an address.
In the Personal Info section on your name you should have indicated that Arizona is your resident state and that you did Not live in any other states or work in any other states, since you are active military.

@DoninGA ok, even if it's a perm duty change for longer than 2 years?    I still pay AZ tax next year even if I don't have anything to do with that state?

Correct.  You maintain your state of legal residence no matter where you are stationed in the world or in the US and the length of time away from that state is not a factor as long as you are active military.
