When I get to the page in TT that says "CREDIT FOR RETIREMENT SAVINGS CONTRIBUTIONS" it automatically had a dollar amount in the "2018 Roth IRA, Traditional IRA, and Qualified Plan Distributions" box. Why is it doing this? Is it taking information from my past filings? Should I change it to 0.00? I don't recall receiving any distributions in 2018. I no longer have the 2018 TT software since it was on an old computer.
I have no clue what to do about this. I assume it was auto populated for a reason though, but not sure from what or why? Please help if you can.
Thank you!

Line 4 of the 8880 (Savers credit) requires any distribution amount after 2017. TurboTax keeps track of that and auto enters it. Look at your 2018 1040 line 4 for your IRA distributions.
