Why is my return still pending? (updated 3-16-21)

My Federal return was accepted few minutes after I filed. But the State Return (California) has been pending ever since. This has NEVER happened before. And I discover that many people are having the same problem on Turbotax due to their software glitch.

Admin, please look into my case and solve it so my state return can be submitted and accepted successfully.

I have made up my mind that this will be my last Turbo Tax year. Every year it's something new and this year it's the pending drama. They abandon their customers with no updates, or information and God forbid you attempt to get support on the phone.  I could have went with the IRS  for this stress.

E-filed 2020 returns on 2/20/21, Federal was accepted within 24 hours while New Mexico still says PENDING as of 3/1/21.  What do I do?

I was really starting to worry. I eFiled my New Mexico tax return on Feb 14 and now it's March already and it is still marked as Pending. I don't like it when tax filling doesn't go well that's why I use TurboTax.

This might help some of those wanting to contact the IRS. I did this morning, it hasn’t been 21 days but its never taken this long for a refund to process. The agent (very friendly) said they have extremely strict rules and unless its been 21 days she’s forbidden to access my account.  HOWEVER, due to all the problems everyone is having this year, if the IRS has your return and its processing, starting March 5th you can call them and they will research your return regardless of whether its been 21 days or not. March 5th at 7AM I’ll be on the phone. Cheers.

Finally got a hold of a customer service rep today, since the office of the President rep (Carol) never got back to me, and spent over an hour on the phone. And that was after I got a call-back. Most of it was spent on hold. The rep was unable to give me any information why the IRS still does not show receiving my return when Turbo Tax says they accepted it on 2/13. And she had no information either on why my NM filing has been pending since 2/13. Finally she put me on hold again for 20 minutes then cut the call off.

Called back and I was on the call another hour and 22 minutes, 35 minutes on hold. The results of this call was that Turbo Tax could not provide any information except the transmission number to call the IRS to have THEM trace the filing after 21 days. Have to wait another week before I can confirm anything.

Turbo Tax has made it virtually impossible to get any assistance or answers for the e-filing problems. Don't know if you've noticed but even GabiU, the Community Manager, is not responding to users any more.

So you're STILL having problems ?  I thought your Fed and state had already been accepted ?

It's shameful that Turbotax is causing these continual e-filing problems. 

And all I can say about GabiU is that she did start out helping people, but now I don't know what she's doing.  I mentioned to GabiU a while back that Turbotax stands to lose thousands of customers next year because we'll all be buying H&R Block software.  This really didn't seem to bother her.  Shame on Turbotax.

I am still praying that all users having problems will be remedied soon.

I have E-flied my taxes. My New Mexico state taxes have not been accepted. It has been over a week. What do I need to do?  My federal and Colorado have been accepted.

Turbo Tax customer service is terrible.  I will not use Turbo Tax again.

After 16 days of no replies of value, over a dozen phone calls (and 7 hours on the phone), a President's office that does not reply and ignores their email commitments, I hope you'll excuse me if I do not hold my breath. Intuit is ignoring falsely reported IRS Accepted returns and Pending state returns hoping we all just go away.

Tomorrow I print my returns and mail them.
