Thank you. I just sent a kind e-mail. (fingers crossed)
I was in the same boat until I got the Turbotax email last week and successfully efiled to the State (the Fed had already accepted).
I'm continuing to pray for all of you !
Happy you got results and that is a good idea to address the community. Your not the only one to suggest that.
If you have filed a state return and it has been stuck in the Pending status for an extended period of time, over 4 or 5 days, your best bet is to send an email to [email address removed] and politely request assistance in addressing the issue. He is the CEO of Intuit. He will forward the message to the office of the President of Intuit and it will get addressed.
If enough users request assistance perhaps, instead of addressing each individual issue, Intuit will address the actual cause of the problem and avoid having many more frustrated users.

I can't believe Turbotax still hasn't resolved the problem with their software and instead they are assisting customers ONE-BY-ONE ?? TURBOTAX, ARE YOU LISTENING ???? May God bless us all.....
I e-mailed the president. I received a friendly phone call from a rep. I was then told to resubmit the return tomorrow. They expect at the end of the today the patch to fix the glitch will occur. 😕
To mslatinlady: As a retired Project Manager for development of software in IBM I pretty much know what happened. Insufficient test scenarios in final code testing. Their response thus far, however, would have cost me either my job or at the least a couple of grade levels (pay). I trust their final test software manager learns a lesson on importance of quality final testing.
Thank you for that information. Perhaps some of the problems with e-filing will be addressed then.
Thank you all for posting here. I will update you when I have more information.
The office of the president is aware of this instance.
I apologize for any stress you have had because of this.
I am updating the content of this original post with what we know now.
Thank you all for your patience.
Icecman: Amen. Thanks and let's see if we start seeing some good results ! Have a blessed weekend !
Hi linch: I tried to reach out to TT but they did not respond. Fortunately, I kept checking and finally saw it was accepted by the NY state about 5 or 6 days later. Hope the same will happen to you.
Tak

The IRS says 9 out of 10 filers who efile and choose direct deposit will get their Federal refunds within 21 days after being accepted. Some returns are processed fairly quickly, while others require additional processing due to specific items in the return. Some are pulled at random for more thorough investigation.
This IRS FAQ gives some situations where it might take longer than 21 days:
https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions
If it goes longer than 21 days, you can phone the IRS to inquire about the delay.
IRS: 800-829-1040 (7AM-7 PM local time) Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do not choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
