@tylerluoh-chow All states require your federal return to be filed and accepted first.
I don't work for TT.
That is why your state return can't be accepted though.
All the best.
My federal return was already accepted but I got that message anyway. I'll try again now and see. Thanks for your response.

Are you getting a GAR0000-010 error code? If so, that means the state's copy of the Federal return was not included with the Georgia return when the state efile was attempted. This has been a known issue recently. TurboTax was leaving it out in error. I don't know the current status of it.
Many states require that a state copy of the Federal return be sent along with the State return so the State Tax Agency can compare the figures to verify what you reported on your state return is actually what you reported on the Federal return. Normally TurboTax sends a copy of the Federal return in the state efile along with the state return.
Apparently with this error the second copy of the Federal return that goes to the state wasn't included in the state efile. As I mentioned, this is a TurboTax issue was being worked on.
I'll ask Champ @DoninGA to report here today if he knows if it's still a known issue.
The containment FAQ has been removed since the problem has been corrected. There were several states getting errors for not including the federal return with the e-filed state return. Since the problem has been corrected the complaints have ceased.
Was the Federal tax return e-filed and accepted by the IRS? If so, and the state return was rejected then what is the rejection code?
If the rejection code is GAR0000-010 then contact TurboTax support to report this problem and the error code received.
